What You Need To Vanilla Donut Glaze

Powdered sugar: also known as confectioner’s sugar or icing sugar.
Vanilla extract: this is a must for an aromatic vanilla flavor.
Milk: you can add more or less depending on the consistency you’re looking for. Not quite sure how much? Just follow the recipe’s exact measurements!
How To Make Vanilla Donut Glaze
In a bowl combine all your ingredients and it it a mix until all the ingredients are combined, and the glaze is smooth and glossy. Your delicious vanilla donut glaze is now ready to be drizzled over freshly baked donuts or dunked for full coverage. Note: add the milk a little at a time so you can control the consistency of the glaze.
Once you’ve dipped your donuts, let them set for a few minutes before serving.

- Remember that experimenting with different ratios of ingredients can help you achieve your desired taste and consistency. So feel free to adjust this basic recipe according to your personal preferences.
- If you made your glaze a little to early and it to thick or hard when you need to dip your donuts, ad a splash of milk and give it a mix and it should be back to it’s original consistency. Don’t add too much!
- Accidently added too much milk? No problem add a few teaspoons of powdered sugar to thicken up your glaze!

Ingredients
- 1 cup powdered sugar (112g)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium sized bowl combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, salt and 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Give it a mix, then add 1 or 1/2 more tablespoon of milk if needed. (Go ahead and add as much milk as you need to reach you desired consistency.)
- Dip your cooled donuts into the prepared glaze then place on a wire rack to set for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
