A creamy, rich and nutritious drink that everyone will love. This fig and dry fruit milkshake is the perfect treat for summer, not only does it satisfy your milkshake cravings, but it’s also packed with protein and fiber!
About The Recipe
This is the first drink recipe on my website and I’m so proud of it. This fig and dry fruity milkshake is super easy to make. All you have to do is blend together the figs and dry fruits and you’re all done.
I personally don’t like figs that much, but boy do I love this milkshake! It’s so rich and creamy without using any ice cream or whipped cream. The flavor of the figs is most prominent, while the nuts give it that richness. This recipe can also be easily doubled to make more milkshake.

What You Need To Make This Recipe
Figs: I used 3 ripe figs.
Dry Fruits: I used almonds and walnuts, you can use any dry fruits you have on hand like pistachios, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, and the options are additional.
Honey: you can use maple syrup, agave or just plain granulated sugar.
Milk: I used whole milk, you could also use almond milk or soy milk.
Pro Tips
- I highly recommend you consume the drink as soon as it’s made because fig milkshakes tend to go bitter if it’s rested for even a couple of minutes.
- If you want to make this milkshake ahead of time, remove the skin of the figs before you blend all the ingredients together, this will prevent the milkshake from becoming bitter.
- Soaking the almond and walnuts in some water for at least 30 minutes or for 1-2 hours will make the milkshake extra creamy.
- I also peeled the almonds, since they’ve been soaked in water, the skin peels off very easily. This is totally optional.
- Feel free to add any types of dry fruit you want into this fig and dry fruit milkshake, I just used what I had on hand.
