Hey there 👋, I’m Sara Ahmed, the creator of The Food Flamingo! I’m a self-taught baker and cook who’s constantly learning and experimenting in the kitchen. My journey with food began at age 12 when I baked my first cake—since then, I’ve been captivated by the world of baking! Cookies hold a special place in my heart (and my kitchen) as my favorite treat to bake and enjoy!

I started The Food Flamingo to serve as a virtual cookbook, a place to share my tried-and-true recipes with fellow food lovers, bakers, and anyone eager to cook delicious things. Here, you’ll find a variety of recipes, from sweet bakes to savory dishes inspired by family and my own culinary explorations. Whether you’re baking for loved ones, cooking for yourself, or adding to your bakery’s menu, I hope my recipes bring joy and inspiration to your kitchen.
