It’s finally strawberry and lemon season, so what better way to use these amazing fruits than to make some refreshing strawberry lemonade? Strawberries and lemon are two fruits that pair so well together, sweet strawberries combined with sour lemon juice is like a match made in heaven!
It’s quick, it’s easy and super healthy! The sugar in this recipe can be replaced with any natural sweetener you’d like. I also added a bit of mint to take this drink to a whole new level. It’s also perfect for picnics and parties because this drink is enjoyed by people of all ages, just make sure double or triple recipe as needed.
This drink can also be made with frozen strawberries, so you can enjoy this rejuvenating drink all year long!
What You Need To Make Strawberry Lemonade
Strawberries: if strawberries are in season, it’s best to use fresh strawberries. But frozen strawberries will work too.
Lemon: nothing beats fresh lemon juice!
Sugar: this can be replaced with any natural sweetener like honey, maple syrup, or agave. Start with a little, then you can taste it and add more if needed. The amount of sugar/sweetener really depends on how sweet your strawberries are, so if needed you can add more or less.
Mint: this is optional, but that tat hint of mint just taste amazing in the strawberry lemonade.
You’ll also need water and ice cubes of course, unless you want a room temperature drink you don’t need ice cubes.

Storing The Strawberry Lemonde
Store the strawberry lemonade in the refrigerator! Since it contains fresh fruit it can go bad very quickly. I recommend serving the drink immediately after making it, but making it 1-2 hours ahead of time and refrigerating it should be fine.

Ingredients
- 15 medium sized strawberries, hulled and washed
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 4 Tbsp granulated sugar, or to taste
- 3-4 mint leaves, washed
- 2 1/2 cups water
- a few ice cubes
Equipment/Utensils
- Blender
- Glasses
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients except for ice cubes into a blender.
- Blend on high speed until everything is nicely blended and there are no chunks of strawberries.
- Add some ice cubes into your serving glasses and fill them up with the refreshing strawberry lemonade. Enjoy!
